Thanks to all of the members of the Reunion Committee for putting together a great weekend.  It was fun to visit with friends that I only get to see at the reunions.

As I moved throughout the room at the Dils Center taking pictures, I was able to visit with most everyone there.  I enjoyed catching up on what everyone was doing, joking with some and telling jokes to others or hearing them.  I had a wonderful time.

Being a first time reunion committee member, I hadn't realized the work that had gone into previous reunion planning.  So I take my hat off to those who preceded me.  It all fell together and turned into an enjoyable weekend.  I'm looking forward to the next one, but I can wait.

I hope everyone will keep in touch and take the opportunity to relay news through this communication tool.  If any of you have Icq, please contact me at number 95098565 "Littlefox" or send me an e-mail.
Job well done!

Later.

This is only the 2nd reunion I've attended in the past 35 years, the first being the 25th.  I have to say that anyone who didn't come this time sure missed out on a wonderful time.  Saturday evening was especially nice as more people were there than on Friday evening.  I saw many who I had not seen since graduating in 1965.  I also made some new friends with 'ladies' I didn't know in high school.  I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.  I plan on making the 40th reunion - God willing.  Thank you to the wonderful reunion committee.  Your work did not go unappreciated.  Many thanks for all of your hard work.  I'll look forward to the 40th.  Until then.....

I had a great time at the reunion, but I was disappointed that we didn't have a special section.  The section we were in was bad because there were kids in that section that insisted on standing on the bleacher seats, so we couldn't see much of the action on the field.  I have a bad leg due to an injury in an auto accident 10 months ago.   I'm lucky to be alive, I can't stand for long periods.  I really think we should mount a letter writing campaign or an e-mail campaign to the current principal of PHS and let he or she know what a terrible way to treat the largest graduating class at the school.  I would appreciate any comments from fellow graduates and also an e-mail address for the principal of PHS.

Thanks for the chance to vent.
Sincerely,
Susan Maybury Phillips                                                            9/30/00

I want to thank the committee for putting on such a great affair.  I wish that I had been able to make the Saturday session as well as Friday, but it was still a great evening.  It was great to see so many old friends and I look forward to the next opportunity.

I just want to say that I had a great time on both evenings of our class reunion.  It was my first time attending one of our reunions.  35 years ---- WOW!  Where did the time go?

Congratulations to the reunion committee.  You did a great job.   By the way, the Elvis impersonator was super.  What a delightful surprise.
Sylvia Rader Lyons                                                                                              10/04/00

WOW!!!  What a week-end!!

That can sum up my feelings toward the reunion committee.  What an outstanding job all of you did in bringing this about!

This was the first reunion I have attended and hopefully won't be my last.   From the ball game and get together on Friday to the tour and dinner on Saturday--I had the chance to visit with many classmates I had not seen in 35 years.

Even though we were to have a section in the bleachers for the game--with it being the PHS/PSHS game--I could understand why there wasn't a section.

The only thing I missed was a class photo on Saturday evening.  But that is small in comparison to the memories I'll cherish of this week-end.

Thanks again to the reunion committee for their work and to the alum who were in attendance.

WOW!!  What a week-end!!

Sorry I couldn't attend the reunion.  Looks like it was fun.

I really regret not making the reunion this year.  I understand from Barb Stephens a good time was had by all.  I did run into Stretton Gramlich down here in Florida and had a chance to talk over the old days in P-burg.  As it turns out we've lived about 15 minutes from each other for about 15 years.

God willing, I'll sure try for the 40th reunion. (40th???...can't be!!)

Sorry we didn't get to stay for the dance, but Larry got sick at the football game due to a treatment he was undergoing.  Hope to spend more time with next time.

I remember helping to work on our very first reunion. It seems so very long ago at the old Blennerhasset Hotel. I do not know the hundreds of times I have been home in Parkersburg over the years and only have seen a small handful of fellow classmates. I guess most have moved away. I am really looking forward to 2005 and our 40th. I would not miss it for anything. Living in North Carolina the last 12 years. Feel free to drop me a line.

Rusty Montgomery                12/15/2004

Thought I would check in & see what everyone was doing!!

Wow! 40 years? Impossible! I do hope that there is some way that I can attend the reunion. Sure would be fun. Hello and happy spring to all my 'mates from Colorado. This is a great site and I will check back often to see how the plans are progressing.

Donna (Smith) Sarrafian                04/18/2005

Hello to all: Congratulations on our 40th! In 2004, we retired and moved to the Central Florida area. I work a seasonal job at Universal Studios, Orlando with other retirees. I can't believe I am a senior citizen. Enjoying the sun, but, miss West Virginia.

Di Anne "Di" (Barron) Binder        04/24/2005

Realizing a paddlewheeler cruise has been a past scheduled activity, I am pleased a Tea in the Garden is suggested. My preference would have been the cruise again.

Indoor/Outdoor weekend activities are always pleasant.

Good luck to all of my classmates and congratulations on the 40th anniversary of our graduation from PHS. Jim McGinnis

I am currently working for Ohio State U. in the Cincinnati area as a horticulture educator and am married to a wonderful lady, Sharon. This will be the first time I will be seeing many of my classmates in 40 years. That is so hard to believe! I am looking forward to it but am also saddened by the rather long list of those who have not lived long enough to enjoy this time. Let's hope that everyone else lives to enjoy the 75th reunion. Best wishes to all, Dave Dyke

This is Clement Gibson. Sorry that I will not be able to attend the 40th reunion. I wish I could be there. I really would like to catch up on what has been happening in your lives these past 40 years. To those of you who remember me, please send an E-mail and let me know what is happening in your life.

Have decided that I can't make it this time but did send in the form to get the momento.  Hope it will come off well for all of you.  Hopefully, I will still be alive and kicking for the 45th.  I will look forward to seeing pictures you post on the internet.

Take care!

I am sorry that I missed the 40th reunion. I looked at the pictures and was very thankful that there were names on some of them. If you saw a picture of me now, you wouldn't know it is the same person pictured in the 1965 Parhischan. I was very saddened to see so many of my friends on the deseased list. I would appreciate an e-mail from any of you who remember me. I hope that all of you find joy in living each day!

PHS Class of 65, what wonderful memories we all have.
